This function stops automatically after 52 hours

Door open alarm

When the fridge door is left open for a certain

period of time the door alarm is activated. The

LED indicators around the key of the current set

temperature will start to flash and a audible

beep will sound. The door alarm will stop when

the door is closed. You can deactivate the audi-

ble beep by pressing any key.

Temperature lock

You can lock a set temperature to avoid acci-

dental or unwanted changes to the temperature

setting. To activate a temperature lock press

and hold the key of the selected temperature for

3 seconds.

Changing the sound of the key

To change the sound of the key from “beep” to

“click” or from “click” to “beep”:

• Press and hold both 2°C and QuickChill but-

tons for 3 seconds.

First use

Cleaning the interior

Before using the appliance for the first time,

wash the interior and all internal accessories

with lukewarm water and some neutral soap so

as to remove the typical smell of a brand-new

product, then dry thoroughly.

Important! Do not use detergents or abrasive

powders, as these will damage the finish.

Daily use

Storage of frozen food

When first starting-up or after a period out of

use, before putting the products in the compart-

ment let the appliance run at least 2 hours.

The freezer drawers ensure that it is quick and

easy to find the food package you want. If large

quantities of food are to be stored remove all

drawers . On all shelves it is possible to place

food that protrude until 15 mm from the door.

Important! In the event of accidental

defrosting, for example due to a power failure, if

the power has been off for longer that the value

shown in the technical characteristics chart

under "rising time", the defrosted food must be

consumed quickly or cooked immediately and

then re-frozen (after cooling).

Freezing fresh food

The freezer compartment is suitable for freezing

fresh food and storing frozen and deep-frozen

food for a long time.

To freeze fresh food activate the Quick Chill

function at least 24 hours before placing the

food to be frozen in the freezer compartment.

Place the fresh food to be frozen in the bottom

compartment.

The maximum amount of food that can be frozen

in 24 hours is specified on the rating plate, a la-

bel located on the inside of the fridge.

The freezing process lasts 24 hours: during this

period do not add other food to be frozen.

After 24 hours, when the freezing process is

completed, deactivate the Quick Chill function

(see "Quick Chill function").

Thawing

Deep-frozen or frozen food, prior to being used,

can be thawed in the refrigerator compartment

or at room temperature, depending on the time

available for this operation.

Small pieces may even be cooked still frozen,

directly from the freezer: in this case, cooking

will take longer.

Air cooling

The Dynamic Air Cooling (DAC) fan lets food

chill quickly and in a more uniform temperature.
