Changing the opening direction of

the doors

Before buiding-in the appliance (if necessary),

change the opening direction of the doors. To do

this, proceed as follows:

1. Unplug the refrigerator from the wall socket;

2. Remove the lower hinge (3), the pin (1) and the

support foot (2);

3. Unscrew the front left support foot and screw it

into the corresponding position on the opposite

side;

4. Unscrew the two screws which hide the fixing

holes of the hinge on the left-hand side;

5. Detach the lower door from the central hinge (H).

6. Remove the central hinge and detach the upper

door from the pin (G). Unscrew the pin (G) and

screw it into the corresponding position on the

opposite side;

7. Remove the two plugs, and remount them on the

other side;

8. Re-assemble the upper door, the central hinge

and the lower door;

9. Re-assemble the lower hinge (turning it 180¡),

the pin (1) and the support foot (2) on the

opposite side.

Attention

After completion of the door reversibility

operation, verify that the door gasket is adherent

to the cabinet. If the ambient temperature is cold

(i.e. in Winter), the gasket may not fit perfectly to

the cabinet. In that case, wait for the natural

fitting of the gasket or accelerate this process by

heating up the part involved with a normal

hairdrier.

Rear spacers

The plastic bag containing all relevant

documentation also contains two rear wall spacers

to be fitted into special slots on the back of the

appliance. Fit the spacers into the slots, taking care

to ensure that the arrow (A) is positioned as shown

in the figure. Next, turn them through 45¡ (arrow in

vertical position) until they lock into place.
