3. Leave the door open and remove the
freezing shelf. It is possible to scrape off
and remove smaller frost and ice with a
plastic scraper. Sweep off melting water
and it can be removed if an adequately
high tray is put in front of the appliance
and the defrost water will flow into it.
In order to speed up the defrosting
process, place a pot of warm water in the
freezer compartment. In addition, remove
pieces of ice that break away before
defrosting is complete.
4. When defrosting is completed, dry the
interior thoroughly and keep the scraper
for future use.
5. Switch on the appliance.
6. Turn the Temperature Regulator to the Full
Loaded position and leave to run for at
least 4 hours.
7. Reload the previously removed food into
the compartments.
8. Adjust the Temperature Regulator accord-
ing to the quantity of the stored foods.
Periods of non-operation
When the appliance is not in use for long
periods, take the following precautions:
1. Disconnect the appliance from electricity
supply.
2. Remove all food.
3. Defrost (if necessary) and clean the appli-
ance and all accessories.
4. Leave the door/doors open to prevent
unpleasant smells.
WARNING! If the cabinet will be kept
on, ask somebody to check it once in
a while to prevent the food inside from
spoiling in case of a power failure.

the temperature again.
The room temperature is too
high.
Refer to climate class chart on
the rating plate.
Food products placed in the ap-
pliance were too warm.
Allow food products to cool to
room temperature before storing.
The door is not closed correctly. Refer to “Closing the door”.
There is too much frost and ice. The door is not closed correctly
or the gasket is deformed/dirty.
